Leonard is a student at Horace Green Prep School and is a member of the class that that Dewey Finn starts teaching as a substitute teacher under the name of Ned Schneebly. He is the security with Frankie.
Leonard is intelligent and seems to be loyal and polite towards his parents but deep down there is that rebellious side to do something against his parents wishes.
